There are so many reasons why the dry sauna is loved; however, its users can't deny that steam is good too

Some people who prefer to use a dry sauna joke about steam saunas by saying if they wanted to sit in a wet environment they'd move to England. Since most British people have a good sense of humor they can easily forgive this joke made by the 'dry sauna' people.

Despite that one personal preference stated by those who like to use a hot dry sauna instead of using the moister steam sauna, there are some valid reasons as to why they use the dry over the wet. If using the infrared sauna, this technology boasts an ability to remove toxins from the body better and more efficiently than the steam sauna can, because this method heats the body directly, instead of heating the air.

Those who use the more traditional 'Finnish' style sauna like it better because they can enjoy the dry heat, but can also break up that heat once in while by throwing some water on the hot rocks to make steam. Then, of course, enters in the fun part when the ones who love to use the dry heat disagree about what is better: the infrared or the traditional dry sauna. The main point of contention in this debate is environment. Those who like the heated rocks like the heavy and very hot air that is provided. Those who like the infrared sauna like the fresh environment that it provides. But then the dissension in the ranks is calmed again by their common argument against those who love to sit in steam.

Despite the dry sauna users' apparent bias towards the more traditional and infrared sauna technologies, they can't disagree that the moisture from a steam sauna does help to improve a person's complexion. And even though they would like to deny it, both the dry and wet saunas are great for increasing a person's health and vitality - even if a wet sauna's environment does remind them of England!
