If you want to really clean your face, but don't want to use a chemical-based product, then a facial sauna might be right for you
Many people prefer the steam sauna because of the benefits it has for the skin and the facial sauna is used for that same reason. However, the facial sauna is handier to use if you don't want your entire body immersed in steam and is the choice of many who don't want to use chemicals to clean out their pores.
The most natural pore cleanser is steam, but there is a facial sauna model that offers a cold mist as well. Why? The warm steam initiates sweating and opens the pores. A cold mist after the warm steam has been used will close the pores back up again. This is important. Think of it this way. Someone had left the patio door to the kitchen open and there was a strong wind blowing. The door had eventually gotten closed, but the dirt was trapped inside. You grab the broom and sweep up all the dirt and dispose of it through the open door, but then forget to close the door again. With the door open the kitchen will collect just as much dirt as it had before. The same is true for your pores. To clean them properly you need to open them. Keep them open and they'll just collect more dirt. Close them up while their clean and they'll stay that way longer.
A facial sauna can be purchased almost anywhere from a drug store to a department store to a Web site on the Internet and can cost anywhere from $20.00US and up, depending on the brand name you buy - HoMedics, Conair, Revlon - and how many bells and whistles it has.
Because a facial sauna is so convenient many men, women, and even teenagers who suffer from bad acne have chosen to keep at least one in the closet at home to use whenever they want to experience the ultimate facial cleansing.
