Bathing in hot water, surrounded by bubbles is perceived to be the relaxing thing to do, but it doesn't hold water to taking a steam bath

It's very unlikely that while using a steam bath you'll be burning candles and sipping a glass of wine while covering yourself up with luxurious bath bubbles, but do you realize that even though the movies dictate that's the best way to dissolve stress, you're not doing your body any favors? A bath should be a way to help your health, not hinder it, and a steam bath is one of the best ways to give your body the help it needs.

The bath environment described above sounds pretty luxurious doesn't it? But that bath not only has a person sitting in water that contains unnatural substances (chemicals are what's used to make those bubbles), once the water grows cold, which doesn't take very long, the relaxation aspect of the entire experience is gone. A steam bath can keep a consistent temperature of anywhere between 120 to 195°F for as long as you want it to. And this is very healthy.

While your muscles are gently being relaxed and the stresses from the day are being melted away, toxins are being sweated out by the heat and then removed by the gentle mist from the sauna bath. This tender process not only keeps you healthy internally, it helps to keep your pores clear, making your complexion shine. And of course, another benefit of a steam bath is weight loss. Because the heat causes your heart to pound faster, and causes your sweat glands to work harder, you burn up calories.

But you still like the aromas that come from the bubbles when you take an ordinary bath. What if I told you that a steam bath allows scented oils to be used for aromatherapy purposes? They manufacture many scents such as Eucalyptus and Evergreen (to name just a couple) to make your sauna bath an even more relaxing and pleasurable experience.
