You won't know the difference between a shower and a steam shower until you've actually experienced them both

A shower that you get every morning where hard droplets of water fall on your head should not be confused with what you will experience when you take part in a steam shower. Oh, I know what you're thinking and yes steam is too light to come out of your showerhead and drop down, meaning the steam will all float up and disappear. However, that is not to say that you can't turn your existing shower enclosure into a steam shower by installing the proper equipment.

With the proper conversion kit you can change your ordinary shower into a stall from heaven. The steam shower kit will contain items such as thermostatic controls, fold down shower seats, and the items you'll need to make sure that your shower stall is in fact sealed up so that the steam doesn't escape. Or if you have a corner in your bathroom that you're not using, then why not use up that space for a freestanding sauna shower?

Why go to all this trouble when you have a perfectly good shower to use already? As relaxing as a regular shower can be, it just isn't the same as using a steam shower. The revitalization magic that a sauna shower holds is twice, maybe three times that of a using a regular shower head, even if you do have one of those fancy heads with the massage settings. Steam has a more calming effect and because of steam's density the temperatures that can be achieved through using it are much higher than if just using ordinary water. This, in turn, allows your body to sweat, not burn, and cleans out your pores using your body's natural solutions, instead of the manmade moisturizing solutions available at the store.

So, instead of just getting a 'shower' in the morning, why not get 'steamed' in a steam shower to start your day off right.
